Department
The Promptair Pty Ltd service department consists of a well-balanced
team of fully qualified air conditioning / refrigeration service
mechanics. Our technicians are highly trained and are able to cope
with all aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
breakdown / repair.
All Promptair service technicians have backing by our in-house support
team, who assist where equipment technical service information,
design procedures and spare parts ordering is required.
In upholding one of Promptair’s key values with regard to
the presentation of a professional service image to clients, all
Promptair technicians wear neat & clean company issued uniforms.
The service department is also complimented by a full time service
co-ordinator / controller, who liases with clients and schedules
our service technicians to task, enabling a prompt response to any
service problem.
Our service department also offers ongoing support to customers
and their air conditioning / refrigeration equipment, through carefully
selected preventative maintenance programmes if required.
Following inception of the installation / contracts department,
the service department has found a specialist niche, by now offering
support in the form of warranty maintenance on new Promptair installations.
Our service department also has the ability to perform warranty
service calls, and repair work on behalf of the equipment manufacturers
and has assisted in this role on several occasions when requested.
The present role of the service department enables all new installation
work to be kept in house from the commencement of the project up
until completion. On several occasions the client and the company
have both shared a common benefit after the warranty period has
elapsed on new equipment. This has been highlighted by having the
opportunity to build a stronger business relationship and gaining
a thorough understanding of plant history, through performance of
regular programmed preventative maintenance visits.
Therefore, Promptair has the genuine ability to promote a “one
stop shop” to its clients.
The department also provides a 24hr / 7 day emergency breakdown
service, with technicians rotating on an after hours roster system.
One of the other great strengths of Promptair
is our people. New service personnel are carefully selected on their
experience, demonstrated skill level, initiative and commitment
to Promptair’s high quality standards. Our apprentice’s
benefit from experience passed on from our skilled technicians,
coupled with the strong emphasis our company places on in-house
training to supplement their external studies. The Promptair service
department currently has over 300 corporate clients from a wide
range of industries and is continuing to promote our qualities and
dedication to customer services.
