Contracting
Mechanical contacting has become the largest division within Promptair. The decision to establish a mechanical contracting division was made in 2002 in response to the positive feedback from clients about the quality of our work as a specialist pipe-work, service and commissioning contractor.
We quickly realised that there was a need and an expectation in the market for the standard of work that we were providing, which made starting this division such a logical conclusion.
The success of our Mechanical contracting division resulted in a major expansion in our operations, and the relocation of our company to our current purpose built premises at Chief St Brompton.
Promptair has the flexibility to perform all types of air-conditioning and refrigeration projects.
Promptair Pty Ltd can design, build and install mechanical services system no matter the size or complexity of the facility. We have experience working with small to large scale projects and have installed mechanical systems for a diverse array of companies and industries.
Now DTEI pre-qualified for projects up to 2.5million (CAT 2 mechanical) Promptair's Contracting department is capable with a proven ability to undertake and complete a wide range of larger mechanical services installations.
In 2006 Promptair achieved ISO900 Quality assurance and continues to work towards improving our quality management systems daily ever striving to improve our finished products, your projects.
In 2002 Promptair Pty Ltd joined the AMCA (Australian Mechanical Contractor Association) as a full member. AMCA members represent Australia's leading mechanical and air-conditioning companies. One of our directors, Michael Barnes, is the current president.
Project Management
From the initial consultation through the installation and maintenance period, Promptair provides complete project management. Our attention to safety and training, as well as our years of experience, allows us to deliver quality climate control systems on time and within the budget.
Promptair boasts an experienced team within its contracting department with 3 full time project managers with over 65yrs of industry experince. This with our 3 site supervisors with over 55 yrs of industry experience
Design / Build
Through our design/build services, we analyse the building and create a HVAC system that will provide consistent climate control, adequately and complying ventilation, and safe indoor air quality. Promptair is committed to design systems that increase energy efficiency and meet Australian environmental regulations.
