Aldinga Beach Court Residential Care Facility (2006 - 2007)
This project was completed over 2 stages.
Stage one comprised of works to the admin and houses 5,6&7 using Mitsubishi VRF units including ducted and high wall indoor units, Mitsubishi lossnay systems to temper fresh air and Fantech general exhaust fans.
This was a challenging exercise, including a comprehensive redesign effort to ensure all equipment fit within the structure.
Stage two kitchen works included an Aira Heat/ Cool/ Ventilation rooftop package, Seeley evaporative unit, Fantech kitchen and dishwasher exhaust fans complete with associated ductwork and stainless steel hoods.

ECH Hackham (2006 - 2007)
A new nursing home comprising of three floors. Bedrooms and specialty areas such as hairdresser rooms were conditioned via Daikin wall split systems (approx 140 units). Ensuite and toilet exhaust were extracted via inline ‘Fans Direct’ fans attached to heat/light/fan bathroom fans.
Corridors, nurses offices, basement kitchen and dining areas were conditioned via Daikin ceiling cassettes.
Canteen and Admin areas were conditioned via Apac split ducted systems.
Activity room was conditioned via Apac packaged units mounted on the roof, completed by circular outlets and low level return air.
Kitchen and dishwasher exhausts were served by roof mounted exhaust fans, decorative domestic type range hoods and stainless steel dishwasher hoods.
Bedroom condensers for the lower two levels are mounted on the walls contained within lattice cages provided by the builder.


Marryatville High School Science Building (2007)
This project was undertaken around class times and in holidays to ensure the school was able to function with minimal disruptions.
There was no builder involved as the head contractor, therefore all building work was to be undertaken by Promptair and their specialist subcontractors.
Existing evaporative systems were demolished and asbestos roofing membrane was removed to install a new non asbestos waterproof membrane.
Daikin Heat reclaim ventilators, split ducted, ceiling cassette and wall mounted systems were used to condition classrooms and teachers prep areas.
A new Fantech general exhaust fan and outside air fan were required.
Parts of the ceiling and bulkheads were taken down and replaced once demolished ductwork was removed. A new roof access hatch with pull down ladder and rooftop walkways and platforms were installed. Lighting and power upgrades also formed part of this contract.


SAPOL (Adelaide City Watch House)
This Multi- story building consists of basement plantrooms, offices and holding cells.
Promptair demolished two plantrooms and installed two new ducted systems, including heat reclaim coils, filter plenums and magnoheylic gauges.
In line evaporative cooling units and exhaust fans were installed to replace existing aged units and ductwork adapted to fit to existing duct runs.
Hi- wall splits were also installed to condition previously unconditioned areas.
Promptair’s staff did an excellent job in keeping with the client’s schedule and special needs in dealing with occupied cell areas.
A BMS system to control the units was installed, as well as a pull down access ladder to access some roof mounted equipment.

ECH Smithfiled (2006 - 2007)
An existing admin area was altered to suit the upgrade, and a new aged care facility was built comprising of two floors to house sixty beds.
Bedrooms were conditioned via Daikin inerter wall mounted split systems.
Ensuite and toilet exhaust were extracted via inline Fantech fans attached to heat/light/fan bathroom fans.
Kitchen and dishwasher exhausts were served by roof mounted exhaust fans, decorative domestic type range hoods and stainless steel dishwasher hoods.
Apac split ducted systems conditioned administration and nurses office, dining rooms and common areas.
Specialty areas such as hairdresser, Chapel and training rooms were conditioned via Daikin inverter ceiling cassettes.
Condensers were either located on the roof of the building or wall mounted on the side of the building.
